This blog is authored by Kamala Bhoopathy.

Food is the basic need for human beings. Then only other necessities like clothing, shelter come in priority. Though food is a necessity, I don’t want to go deep in issues like whether “Eat to live” or “Live to eat”. The readers may decide on that.

I am a homemaker and have experience in cooking for my family for the past 30 years. This blog will bring out mostly Indian recipes that were practically tried out, cooking tips, food as medicine and food related news.

The readers may vary the quantities of ingredients mentioned for the dishes to suit their taste.

Wonderful recipes with awesome pictures. Keep up the good work. Especially people who are in abroad will surely be benefited by your website. Could you please post some recipes for American Indian Kids Lunchbox. Here most of the kids like to take something with the bread not the rice, because they don’t wanted to be different from the others. So I used to give some panini, chappathi roll, left over pizza, some fried rice and soups. Like to get some more recipes for lunch box.

A great website. It is not polluted by egg or any non veg items that I don’t care about.
Moreover the language and content is to the point and meaningful. Whether or not the site becomes commercially viable to you I am sure you certainly enjoy the process of sharing your experience and knowledge which in itself is quite priceless!
May God bless you for even more.
Best Wishes,
